Die klassische Swatch Gent ALPINE von 1989 ist hauptsächlich Weiß gehalten. Von einem weißen Gehäuse umrahmt, sind auf dem Zifferblatt violette und grüne Quadrate aufgedruckt. Auffällige gelbe Zeiger geben die Zeit an. Die Uhr ist wasserdicht und besitzt ein ganggenaues Quarzwerk mit Batterie.
Bei dieser Uhr wurde das alte Kunststoffarmband durch ein neues, weisses ersetzt, wodurch die Farbabweichung zum Gehäuse nur noch minimal ist.
