Der neue Swatch Irony New Chrono BLACK IS BACK hält was der Name verspricht, die Uhr ist fast komplett in Schwarz gehalten. Lediglich die Skalierung des Zifferblattes ist Weis, wie auch die großen Zeiger. Etwas Rot findet man noch auf den kleinen Zeigern der Chronographen Anzeigen. Das dunkle Gehäuse ist aus Edelstahl gefertigt. Die Stopuhr erlaubt das genaue Erfassen von Zeiten bis hin zur 1/10 Sekunde. Die Uhr ist wasserdicht und sie besitzt ein ganggenaues Quarzwerk mit Batterie, Stopfunktion und Datumsanzeige.
