Die Swatch Irony Chrono ROUGH & RUGGED stammt aus der ersten Kollektion, die Uhr ist mittlerweile kaum noch zu finden. Aus Edelstahl ist das glänzende Gehäuse gefertigt und das Armband aus dunkelbraunem Leder. Auf dem silbernen Zifferblatt sind glänzende, lumineszierende Zeiger, d. h. sie leuchten im Dunkeln nach. Zusätzlich sind 8 Nieten als Stundenindexierung und eine Datumsfenster auf der 4 Uhr Position zu sehen. Das ganggenaue, batteriebetriebene Quarzuhrwerk hat eine Stoppfunktion und sie ist wasserdicht.
