Die neue Swatch Gent SIR RED besitzt auch noch nach über 30 Jahren das minimalistische Design der allerersten Swatch, die ebenfalls aus dieser bis heute produzierten Kategorie stammt. Das weiche Silikonarmband und das Gehäuse sind Schwarz, die Akzente kommen durch das dunkelrote Zifferblatt ins Spiel. Die Uhrzeit ist durch flureszierende Zeiger und Indexe sehr gut ablesbar. Auf der drei Uhr Position befindet sich noch eine Datumsanzeige. Die Uhr ist wasserdicht und besitzt ein ganggenaues Quarzwerk mit Batterie.
