Instructions for the disposal of used batteries:

The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol alerts you, as the consumer, to this. Products marked with this symbol indicate a legal obligation to dispose of them separately and take them to collection points. Alternatively, you can return these products to the retailer free of charge.

Free return of used batteries:

Please dispose of these batteries free of charge at the designated municipal collection point or at your local retailer. You can also return or drop off batteries and rechargeable batteries you have received from us free of charge. The return shipment must be sufficiently stamped and prepaid to us.

Meaning of the battery symbols

Batteries/accumulators that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin and the chemical symbol of the respective harmful substance.

  • "Cd" for Cadmium
  • "Pb" for Lead
  • "Hg" for Mercury
  • "Li" for Lithium
  • "Li-Ion" for Lithium Ion
  • "Ni" for Nickel
  • "Zi" for Zinc
  • "Mh" for Metal hydride
