On the occasion of Johannes Dürrstein's 180th birthday, Union Glashütte presents an exclusive set of two 1893 models in a limited anniversary edition. The set includes the Grosser Sekunde model D007.444.16.021.09 and the matching Kleiner Sekunde model with reference D007.228.16.021.09. Both embody precision, timeless beauty, and the idea of making watchmaking accessible.
The Grosser Sekunde captivates with its decentralized dial, while the Kleiner Sekunde interprets the concept with captivating elegance. Protected by robust sapphire crystal, a taupe-colored dial with fine graining in combination with silver cut-outs and blued hands is located above the automatic movements of both watches.
The refined automatic movements are visible through the sapphire crystal case back on both models. The models are limited to 99 pieces each and are available individually or, as here, as a rare set in an exclusive anniversary box.
The watch set in the anniversary box is limited to just 44 pieces worldwide; ideal for collectors and connoisseurs of the finest Glashütte watchmaking art.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
