The Citizen NJ0232-53X from Citizen combines sporty functionality with a striking presence, presenting itself as an automatic watch with strong character in a modern diver style. Its expressive green dial is framed by a color-coordinated rotating bezel and, together with the gold-colored hands and indices, sets elegant accents with high recognition value. The generously designed displays ensure excellent readability, while the date window with magnifier at 3 o'clock is a practical detail for everyday use. The robust stainless steel case with anti-reflective sapphire glass is water-resistant to 10 bar and reliably protects the mechanical movement with approximately 42 hours of power reserve during daily activities. The look is rounded off by a stylish stainless steel bracelet with a safety folding clasp, which harmoniously combines stability and wearing comfort.
The watch belongs to the Tsuyosa Shore series – named after the English word for "coast" – which is more strongly oriented towards classic dive watches in its design. For the first time, this line features a unidirectional rotating bezel with 120 clicks and a 60-minute scale, which gives it the typical diver look. The maritime-inspired dial colors pick up on this concept; in this model, an intense algae green provides a particularly elegant yet sporty appeal.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
