The classic cars of the Sachsen Classic captivate both drivers and spectators. In 2020, the automotive event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a long-standing partner of the rally, Union Glashütte created the Chronograph D008.427.16.421.09. The stylish Noramis special edition is limited to 350 pieces worldwide. On the vermillion dial, the small seconds and 30-minute counter are highlighted by a fine chrome ring, whose design is reminiscent of the dashboards of historic roadsters from the 1960s. A tachymeter scale is printed on the edge and there is a date window at the 6 o'clock position. The slender nickel hands and hour markers have a white Super-LumiNova® coating, meaning they glow in the dark. It is crowned by a slightly domed sapphire crystal, and two strap options are available. In addition to the black racing leather strap with perforated embossing, a beige calfskin strap is included, which can be easily swapped thanks to the quick-change spring bar system. The men's watch is powered by the UNG-27.02 automatic movement, with a power reserve of 60 hours.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
