The Citizen NJ0230-59L from Citizen combines sporty functionality with a striking presence, presenting itself as a strong-character automatic watch in a modern diver style. Its dark blue dial is framed by a color-matching rotating bezel. Generous indices and bold hands guarantee excellent legibility, while the date window with a magnifier at 3 o'clock provides a functional detail. The stainless steel case with anti-reflective sapphire crystal is water-resistant up to 10 bar and reliably protects the mechanical movement with approximately 42 hours of power reserve in everyday life and during activities. The design is complemented by a silver-colored stainless steel bracelet with a safety folding clasp, which stylishly combines stability and wearing comfort.
The watch belongs to the Tsuyosa Shore series – named after the English word for "coast" – which is more strongly inspired by classic diver watches in its design. For the first time, this line features a unidirectional rotating bezel with 120 clicks and a 60-minute scale, which gives it its characteristic diver look. The maritime-inspired dial colors reflect this concept; in this model, a deep navy blue provides a particularly elegant yet sporty appearance.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
