Die Swatch Gent PROMO beschreibt die Geschichte der original Gent. "Minimal Parts! Max Precision!" Auf dem knallig gelben Zifferblatt, das auch von einem gelben Kunststoffgehäuse umrahmt ist steht der Leitsatz einer jeden Swatch Gent. Die Swatch Ur-Gent war die erste Uhr die mit nur 51 Komponenten (anstatt der sonst üblichen 91 oder mehr Teilen) mit hoher Qualität und einem erschwinglichen Preis kombinierte. Zusätzlich ist das Armband zweifarbig in Silber und Türkis gestaltet. In der wasserdichten Uhr ist ein ganggenaues Quarzwerk verbaut und sie besitz eine Loomi-Funktion (Licht auf Knopfdruck).
