In 1978, Tissot presented a quartz watch with a slim tonneau-shaped case, and in 2022, the Tissot PRX T137.427.11.041.00 emerged, a modern interpretation of its predecessor. PR stands for precise and robust, and X represents the Roman numeral ten, thus indicating a pressure resistance of 10 bar, up to which the watch is water-resistant. The case and the link bracelet with a butterfly deployant clasp are made of stainless steel. The most striking feature is the extended line from the case to the bracelet, whose links span the entire width. Beneath the scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal is a dark blue dial with silver indices and hands. The sub-dials of the stopwatch function have white backgrounds. The tips of the hands are luminescent, meaning they glow in the dark, and they are set very close together. A date window is located between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. The men's watch is powered by the automatic movement caliber VALJOUX A05.H31 with a 60-hour power reserve and comes with a special pin for quick date adjustment on the left side of the case.
