An exceptional Mido is the Commander Gradient Catrines Special Edition M021.407.11.411.04 with its striking colourful skull on the dial. It is reminiscent of "Día de Muertos", the Mexican Day of the Dead, a festival that is intimately celebrated in Mexico around the cult of the dead. Thanks to the transparent acrylic dial, the watchmaking mechanics can be seen in this iconic collection. The components of the Caliber 80 can be admired on the dial side as well as on the back thanks to a transparent case back. The dial is adorned with an original, graduated smoke effect and becomes increasingly opaque at the edges, while the date at 3 o'clock stands out perfectly. The automatic watch, which is water-resistant to 5 bar, is equipped with the ETA C07.611 movement. The case and the link bracelet with butterfly clasp are made of brushed stainless steel. In addition to the steel bracelet, the watch comes with two additional interchangeable straps: a black leather strap with blue stitching and an orange silicone rubber strap. All straps have a quick-change function, so they can be changed on the watch in seconds without the need for additional tools.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
