In 1973, Tissot became a sponsor of Renault Alpine at the Monte Carlo Rally, and also created a distinctive chronograph that year, which, with its sportiness, was entirely dedicated to this new commitment. The T124.427.16.031.00 is a resurrection of the iconic watch, comes from the Heritage 1973 collection, and is limited to 1973 pieces. Here, the design of that time has been reinterpreted. The striking case is made of stainless steel with a domed sapphire crystal and a mineral glass exhibition case back. On the silver-gray dial are black hands, a tachymeter scale, and black-backed sub-dials. Matching this is the perforated cowhide leather strap, also in black, with a sturdy pin buckle. The Tissot logo from back then and a date display are also visible. The automatic watch, which is water-resistant up to 10 bar, is equipped with the ETA 7753 caliber, with a power reserve of 48 hours and a chronograph function.
