The elegant Union Glashütte special model D012.407.16.042.09 for the Deutschland Klassik 2021 is limited to 200 pieces worldwide. The exclusive special packaging also contains a case back with an engraving of Germany, with Saxony highlighted in a glossy finish. The blue dial is based on a historical sector dial, the special division separating the hour, minute and second displays. Clearly structured white lines emphasize the edge, which, with the blue, are reminiscent of blueprints used for duplicating technical drawings. The extremely curved, double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides a good view and means there is no need for a bezel. The hands are luminescent, meaning they glow in the dark, and there is a date display at the 6 o'clock position. The case is made of polished stainless steel. The retro look of the 50s and 60s is completed by the dark blue leather strap, which is equipped with a butterfly clasp. The unique automatic watch is equipped with the UNG-07.01 movement, has a power reserve of 60 hours, and is water-resistant to 10 bar.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
