In Atlanta (USA) in 1996, Swatch was the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games for the first time. A total of 618 medal events took place. To mark this occasion, Swatch produced 618 watches each in the three precious metals: gold, silver, and bronze. The first 140 pieces were available in sets of three, containing all three watches. 478 pieces were sold individually. Like the Olympic medal, this Irony Big is very rare, as there are just as many of each. The sporty watch itself comes in a high-quality and elaborately crafted leather box. The dial features the logo of the 1996 Games. The matte case is made entirely of genuine BRONZE, and an elegant dark green leather strap adorns the limited edition Swatch.
