PHEIDIPPIDES

The rare Swatch PHEIDIPPIDES has a composite housing (= diaphane) made of plastic (outside) and aluminum (inside). The outer plastic is extremely robust and durable, so that the watch still looks perfect even after many years. Inside, the movement is incorporated into an aluminum housing. This watch series perfectly combines the plastic beginnings of Swatch with the successful metal (= Irony) series. The watch has a precise ETA quartz movement with a stopwatch and date display. Despite their size, the watch and bracelet are very light and therefore comfortable to wear. The noble PHEIDIPPIDES was released as an Olympic special for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. The white dial has black indices and functions and an orange athlete graphic. It is decorated with a bezel with Greek letters. The black special packaging contains the watch and a geographical model of the venue.

Delivery was made as quickly as possible after receipt of the advance payment.
I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
