PIOLIN'S TIME - 2. Club Special 2016

The second 2016 Swatch Club watch, PIOLIN'S TIME, is a limited (2,626 pieces) and numbered Art Special, created by the artist duo Leo Chiachio and Daniel Giannone. Both are from Buenos Aires and have been working together since 2003 to revive the traditional art of embroidery. A multitude of themes, media, and artists influence their art. Their embroidered portrait style tells of the changing definition of family, which in the artists' case consists of two men and their dachshunds. The watch's design is a miniature of a large-format, hand-embroidered tapestry 'Selva Blanca' by the Argentinian artists, inspired by nature, the Ukrainian artist Sonia Delaunay, and Piolin, Chiachio & Giannone's beloved dachshund. The tapestry is visible on the leather strap, the plastic case, and the dial. The hands are created in the shape of dachshunds in black and blue. The waterproof watch features an accurate quartz movement with a battery. The special packaging is also printed with the tapestry motif, with Piolin enthroned on an armchair in the center.

Delivery was made as quickly as possible after receipt of the advance payment.
I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
I can watch Papst, who watches from Citizen, Union Glashütte, Mido, Swatch or Tissot I highly recommend his professional work and great service.
