SINGAPORE TALE - Destination Special Singapore 2019

The Swatch New Gent Destination Special SINGAPORE TALE was created in collaboration with local artist Tan Zi Xi (also known as MessyMsxi) and was sold exclusively in Singapore at the Swatch Store. The watch's design is inspired by vintage Peranakan tiles, which are traditionally painted with flowers and fruits. Thus, the watch looks like a large tiled mirror, on which various motifs are printed. The dial shows the skyline of Singapore and dark blue hands indicate the time. Icons include HDB flats, which shape Singapore's cityscape, some of the region's most popular dishes such as the traditional 1-dollar ice cream cart, chicken rice, durian and coffee, as well as some landmarks (Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion, Emerald Hill, Singapore Zoo). It is entirely white with blue drawings and a precise, battery-powered quartz movement is built into the waterproof watch. The cardboard sleeve resembles an overseas envelope.

Delivery was made as quickly as possible after receipt of the advance payment.
I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
I can watch Papst, who watches from Citizen, Union Glashütte, Mido, Swatch or Tissot I highly recommend his professional work and great service.
