In 1996, Swatch became the official timekeeper for the Olympic Games for the first time. These games took place in Atlanta (USA). A total of 618 decisions resulted in medals being awarded. To commemorate this event, Swatch produced 618 watches each in gold, silver, and bronze. The first 140 pieces were sold as sets of three, and exactly one of these rare sets is now for sale. Each of these watches is therefore as rare as the corresponding Olympic medal, as there are exactly the same number of both. The watches themselves are presented in a high-quality, elaborately styled leather box. The dial features the logo of the 1996 Games. The case is entirely made of genuine GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE.
