The THE WANDERER – Destination Special Bangkok 2025 by Swatch is an extraordinary artist edition created in collaboration with Bangkok artist Phannapast Taychamaythakool. The design is inspired by the Thai tradition of protective amulets, combining cultural symbolism with modern watch design. At the center of the ornate dial is Hanuman, who in Thai culture is considered a symbol of protection, loyalty, and strength. The figure is surrounded by celestial bodies, depicted in the traditional Prajam-Yam pattern, giving the watch a vibrant, almost talismanic aura.
The colorful dial is complemented by fluorescent black hour and minute hands and a gold-colored second hand. It is protected by bio-based glass in a matte dark blue case made of bio-based material. The matte dark blue strap with a colorful print reflects the artistic design and is complemented by a matching loop on which the name of the Thai capital is printed in gold lettering – in English on one side, and in Thai on the other. A matte dark blue buckle harmoniously completes the design.
