Union Glashütte reissued the Viro Classics series in 2025, here the VIRO DATE in GREEN. The very elegant automatic watch has been made slightly smaller and now has a diameter of 39 mm. This unisex model is therefore suitable for both sexes.
It now features the new 60-hour power reserve movement with a silicon balance spring. The mechanics can be perfectly observed through the glass case back. The second hand has been given a red tip, making it even easier to read the exact second. The other hands for hours and minutes have also become minimally wider and now have a fluorescent surface, so that the time can be easily determined even in the dark.
The beautiful, green dial with sunray finish looks very elegant and has a date display at the 6 o'clock position. The watch case and the bracelet with folding clasp are made of stainless steel. The case back is screwed down and the sapphire crystal is anti-reflective on both sides; the watch is water-resistant to 10 bar.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
