Union Glashütte reissued the classic Viro series in 2025, here presenting the VIRO DATUM in WHITE. The very elegant automatic watch has been made slightly smaller and now has a diameter of 39 mm. This makes this unisex model suitable for both genders.
It now features the new 60-hour power reserve movement with a silicon balance spring. The mechanics can be admired perfectly through the sapphire crystal case back. The second hand has been given a red tip, making it even easier to read the precise second. The other hands for hours and minutes have also become minimally wider and now have a fluorescent surface, so that the time can be easily determined even in the dark.
The beautiful, blue dial with sunburst finish looks very elegant and has a date display at the 6 o'clock position. The watch case is made of stainless steel. The case back is screwed down and the sapphire crystal is anti-reflective on both sides; the watch is water-resistant up to 10 bar.
With this new classic, you can get a perfect introduction to the watch world of Union Glashütte.

I was especially pleased that the watch was from Citizen It was not delivered in the usual black box, but with the yellow diving cylinder.
