The birth of Flik Flak

Flik Flak’s entire brand life is expressed in the word Passion. Created in 1987, Flik Flak was designed to be more than just a simple children’s watch. It is notably the first ever brand of children’s watches to introduce the concept of teaching the time, allowing this learning experience to be transformed into something amusing for children. Synonymous with unique quality, Flik Flak quickly became the world’s best-selling children’s watch.

Once upon a time

He’s never in a rush but always on time and knows that every minute counts – especially when his favorite pizza is in the oven, or his number one team goes into extra time. Always dressed in his funky blue and white gear from head to toe, he salutes the fashion savvy designs of the watches that he does his version of circuit training on. Flak loves to keep her brother on track by constantly reminding him that 60 minutes make up an hour. She sometimes finds it weird that bedtime seems to come round faster than a cookie date with friends, when both are one hour away. But she knows a Flik Flak Swiss watch doesn’t lie. She tries to be patient and waits for her brother to take 60 steps before she leaps ahead, even though she’s often tempted to flip around on her skateboard to fill the time. Her fiery red outfit signals her love of action and you’ll often catch her whizzing off to the play park to try out some stunts or put a new ice cream to the test. She’s as tough as the watch she calls home and knows exactly what she wants – to teach kids all over the world to tell the time while having fun.

  Flik Flak is the only kid watch that can survive a normal 40°C cycle. Just pop it in a sock and it's ready to go.
• Safe
  Flik Flak knows young skin is precious. That's why we refuse to use chemicals that could be hazardous to health.
• Shock-resistant
  The "Swiss made" watch movement is safely housed in a strong plastic case and hidden behind a polishable, protective plastic face.
• Water-resistant 3 bar
  Flik Flak watches are water resistant up to 3 bars, so no excuses for avoiding a shower! Kids can of course swim and splash about in water!
• Swiss Made watch
  This Flik Flak watch is all Swiss made. Its “power” comes from a Swiss quartz movement.

Every Flik Flak watch for kids is Swiss made and gets the highest marks for quality, right down to the precise quartz movement that makes it tick. It’s never too early to be on time! Flik Flak children’s watches are manufactured in Switzerland at ETA, one of the Swatch Group’s largest watchmaking facilities. Each finished piece proudly bears the ETA mark of quality. Ticking the robustness box are resistant plastic cases, polishable plastic glasses, along with shock-resistance and water-resistance to survive the action of the kids on the playground and beyond.
