Swatch Gent WHI MEM is designed in homage to the 1984 Swatch Gent White Memphis. The model is part of the 1984 Bioceramic collection, which gives the watch designs from Swatch's second year a new life with new materials. The special thing about these materials is their environmental friendliness. The case of the watch is made of two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-based plastic. This makes it 300% more robust than plastic. At the same time, the material has a smooth, velvety-silky feel. The bracelet, loop and glass are made of bio-derived plastic. The watch is equipped with an accurate, battery-powered quartz movement and comes in collection-specific packaging made of biodegradable materials.
